IVIS kinetic curve graph

A time series acquisition of mice with luciferase expressing lung metastases taken every 3 minutes from the time of D-luciferin injection to 40 minutes post injection reveals how luciferin diffuses and is metabolized in this particular mouse model. Kinetic curve shows a rapid increase in luciferin signal followed by a plateau and a gradual reduction of signal. The plateau is the optimal imaging window for obtaining the most quantitative bioluminescent data.
